Vertu seeks new global agency partner for CRM

6th January 2014

Tech PR agencies worldwide are being approached by luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu, which is seeking a new customer relationship management (CRM) partner.

The company sent out a request for proposal document before Christmas and is holding chemistry meetings with agencies over the next two weeks as it looks to appoint a new shop for global CRM activities, reports Campaign.

Launched following the appointment of Sanjaya Shrestha as Vertu's new head of CRM and digital, the review will see an agency tasked with creating campaigns covering loyalty, engagement and data management for the client.

Vertu is a British company launched in 1998 as a subsidiary of Nokia and sells hand-made mobile phones that incorporate specialist materials such as precious metals and jewels. Its devices are available from around 500 stores – including 70 Vertu boutiques – in 66 countries.

It is seeking to bolster its CRM capabilities as it prepares to launch several new models in 2014, expanding a current lineup that includes the premium Signature and Vertu Ti handsets.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801678898-ADNFCR
