Horiba launches Horibaville clinical diagnostics resource

Scientific Company News

Horiba has announced the launch of an innovative clinical diagnostics information resource called Horibaville, which comes in the form of an interactive town.

The website allows visitors to explore virtual locations, through which they can find out more about the life science company's various services and products, as well as access scientific posters, papers and case studies.

“Horiba has launched its new Horibaville website, an innovative information resource focusing on its clinical diagnostics offerings.“

By entering different hotspots - such as hospitals, clinics, a veterinary surgery and a university - users can learn about Horiba's haematology and clinical chemistry products and their numerous applications within these various settings.

Featuring brochures, videos, case studies and posters, the Horibaville site has been optimised to run both on PCs and touch-controlled smart devices, such as Apple's iPad.

A statement from the firm said: "Developed with Horiba's company motto 'Joy and Fun' firmly in mind, Horibaville presents the company in a completely fresh, innovative and engaging way."

Scientists were able to see a preview of Horibaville at the 2013 congress of the Institute of Biomedical Science, which took place in Birmingham from September 23rd to 25th.
