Owen Mumford co-sponsors Women4Real painful sex film
Medical Company Product NewsOwen Mumford has highlighted its involvement with a short film by Women4Real on the issue of painful sex that recently went viral on YouTube.
The two-minute film aims to shine a light on a rarely discussed and under-diagnosed female sexual health problem, with a recent census revealing that as many as 12 per cent of women regularly find sex painful and unfulfilling.
“Owen Mumford has sponsored a short online film by Women4Real aimed at raising awareness of the potential health issues associated with painful sex.“
Owen Mumford's Amielle Comfort vaginal dilator brand co-sponsored the online video in order to help raise awareness of this problem and the associated condition known as vulvodynia, a burning pain that can make penetration unpleasant or unbearable.
Tania MacKenzie, Amielle marketing manager at Owen Mumford, said: "We know that self-treatment using Amielle Comfort graduated vaginal dilators can help women build confidence so that they can start to enjoy intimate relations again."

Last month, the company announced the appointment of Eric Del Cotto as its new general manager for the Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa region, coming as part of a restructuring of the firm's global business.
