Fujifilm showcases mammography offerings at AHRA meeting

Fujifilm is demonstrating a number of its new advances in digital mammography technology at the 2013 annual meeting of the AHRA, the Association for Medical Imaging Management.

The company is attending the Minneapolis event this week to showcase new offerings such as Aspire HD Plus, an imaging solution with superior clarity that provides high detail of potential abnormalities, plus various image processing and enhancement tools.

It also demonstrated the AWS Workstation system and sponsored a special symposium on digital radiography and accountable care, as well as a talk on maintaining a positive atmosphere in healthcare sector workplaces.

David Hotchkiss, director of marketing for Fujifilm Medical Systems' women's health CR division in the US, said: "At Fujifilm we develop mammography systems workstation solutions and advanced tools that help our customers provide quality care."
