Kruuse introduces latex-free surgeons' gloves at BSAVA 2012
Animal Health Supplier NewsKruuse has launched a new range of latex-free surgeons' gloves for the animal health sector at the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) 2012 congress.
The new Krutex polyisoprene surgical gloves are the latest additions to the Krutech product range and are sterile and powder-free, as well as being manufactured without latex protein.
Thanks to their synthetic polyisoprene design, they offer sensitivity and comfort that is comparable to natural rubber latex, while minimising the risk of glove-related allergies.
Other products included in the Krutech line include Vet Gel surgeons' gloves, Krutech latex surgical gloves and Krutech latex, vinyl and nitrile examination gloves.
Andrew Groom, managing director at Kruuse UK, said: "After feedback from our customers showed an increasing concern regarding latex allergies among clinicians, we were encouraged to develop this addition to our well-established range of gloves."
The Kruuse Group employs around 200 people and provides products for animals of all sizes, including offerings from Pulse Veterinary Technologies, thanks to an agreement announced in December 2011.
