Fleishman-Hillard appoints strategic integration head

Marketing Services

Fleishman-Hillard has announced the appointment of John McNeel to the newly created role of global managing director of strategic integration.

Mr McNeel assumes his new position this week and will be charged with driving global integration of public relations, marketing, social, digital and other communications disciplines across multiple platforms.

He joins the international agency from TBWA, where he served as president of global clients, while he has also held various roles at Saatchi and Saatchi, working with clients such as Procter and Gamble.

His appointment will aid efforts to improve analytical, planning and creative capabilities across the business, thus allowing Fleishman-Hillard to deliver more powerful transmedia content.

Fleishman-Hillard president and chief executive officer Dave Senay said: "We've made enormous strides shifting the firm into a fully integrated mode. But we're determined to go much further, much faster, both as a more complete individual agency and as a preferred collaborator among communications partners."

This comes after the firm was included on Advertising Age's ranking of the best places to work for 2012 last month.
