Otsuka to improve efficiency with Cegedim Relationship Management

Pharmaceutical Company Product News

Otsuka has signed a deal with Cegedim Relationship Management that will allow the pharmaceutical company to improve its efficiency through the use of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

Over the coming months, the healthcare firm will be deploying Cegedim's Mobile Intelligence SaaS system, which has been specially tailored for the life sciences sector, in nine countries.

This will encompass the use of offerings such as Mobile Intelligence Key Account Management, the healthcare professional database OneKey and Mobile Intelligence for iPad.

It will allow Otsuka to put in place a centralised system of governance, which will support its efforts to broaden its geographical reach.

Simon Church, business intelligence manager for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe, said: "Managing unique business rules within each country from a centralised system is critical to ensure that we efficiently meet each country's commercial strategy needs."

This comes after the company allied with Lundbeck to develop a range of new psychiatric disorder treatments last week.
