BCF Technology has announced the launch of a new clinical guide to bovine reproduction, which it is making available for free.
The booklet has been written by Kimberly Palgrave - BCF's in-house vet - and aims to brief users on the benefits of using ultrasound in the management of herd fertility issues.
It has been designed as a reference guide for the reproductive tract of the cow, showing various stages of the fertility and reproductive processes using scanning images, as well as providing clinical commentary.
The 16-page document is aimed at users of the company's Easi-Scan and Duo-Scan devices, providing information essential to the correct evaluation of the bovine reproductive tract.
Ms Palgrave said: "This booklet really demonstrates BCF's commitment to learning and hopefully it will provide a quick reference guide to be used on the farm."
Earlier this month, the company announced the appointment of Michael Woods as a lead service engineer, based at its site in Dundalk.See all the latest jobs in Animal Health
