Prism Ideas has entered into collaboration with the University of Liverpool in order to help raise awareness of medical communication career opportunities.
The partnership will see the media agency provide students with workshops, advice and communication skills training, sharing the company's expert knowledge and insight.
It will also be sponsoring the Postgraduate Research in Science Medicine 2010 conference at Lancaster University later this month at the University of Liverpool's encouragement, in order to provide further counsel to students.
Prism Ideas and the University of Liverpool are hoping this will help to show graduates how a science background can lead to jobs within medical communications.
Carol Hills, director of medical marketing services at Prism Ideas, said: "Working closely with UK universities will enable us to help prepare people for a career in this innovative industry and create opportunities for promising young talent."
This month, the company announced that former Sanofi-aventis UK chairman and managing director Nigel Brooksby is to join Prism Ideas in the role of non-executive chairman.See all the latest jobs in Healthcare Communications
