Roche has attended the recent American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) clinical lab expo in order to demonstrate the newest innovations in its laboratory equipment range.
The science company was present at the event to highlight the benefits of new products such as the cobas 8000 analyser series and the ACCU-CHEK Inform II system, both of which are set to launch in the second half of the year.
According to Roche, the cobas device series is a next-generation solution for processing large quantities of clinical chemistry and immunoassay tests, while the ACCU-CHEK system can provide improved blood glucose monitoring.
In addition, the company demonstrated its new Elecsys Anti-HAV IgM assay, for use in the detection of hepatitis A.
Other recently-released products on display at the AACC event were the LightCycler MRSA Advanced Test and the CoaguChek XS Pro System.
Last week, Roche announced that it has agreed a deal with Exiqon to jointly market their polymerase chain reaction segment offerings, including Roche's RealTime ready assay range.See all the latest jobs in Science
