MyCheck, the mobile payment technology provider, has selected London-based technology PR specialist CCgroup to handle its public relations in the UK. CCgroup will work with MyCheck to build its brand, increase awareness and support lead generation.
Using MyCheck consumers can check into venues, pay securely using a wide range of payment options, participate in loyalty schemes and receive offers and information, all from their smart device. Popular with restaurants, MyCheck allows customers to settle and divide the bill between friends, order a takeaway and leave a tip without waiting for service staff. The company works with major restaurant groups such as Busaba Eathai and Prezzo Plc.

MyCheck selected CCgroup because of its experience and expertise in the FinTech market and its ability to provide a range of marketing and sales support services beyond “traditional PR”. Since appointing CCgroup, MyCheck has announced the results of its work with Busaba Eathai, where the companies have set the benchmark for mobile loyalty in the hospitality sector, and secured a $5m investment from the Santander Innoventures Fund.
