Felixvet Sets Up Shop in KC Animal Health Corridor

Briarcliff in Kansas City, Missouri, has been chosen as the location of Felixvet’s North American base. Felixvet is a producer of generic medications for the companion animal sector.

The Irish company’s decision followed an analysis of the strategic benefits that come with being located inside the Animal Health Corridor. This is the region which hosts the largest number of animal health enterprises globally, with 56% of the world’s sales of pet feed, diagnostics, and animal health products concentrated here.

The KC Animal Health Corridor features over 300 animal health firms, providing an unrivalled location for expansion, development and partnership opportunity.

Head of Felix’s North America location, Vince Palasota, said that “with our extensive pipeline, quick response capabilities and deep understanding of ANADA and brand competition strategies, we believe the veterinarian and marketing partners will recognize the significant value-added benefits we bring.”

Chief Executive Officer, Neeraj Agrawal, explained that recent FDA approvals across India and the US “give us a distinct competitive advantage in the animal health sector as we introduce our portfolio of products to the market.”

Head of KC Animal Health Corridor, Kimberly Young, explained how the region offers close “proximity to many of their industry clients, as well as abundant access to distribution resources and a robust animal health industry network.”
