Private Investment Firms Purchase Syneos Health for $7 BillionScience
A group of private investment firm associates including Elliott Investment Management, Patient Square Capital, and Veritas Capital have signed a contract to purchase Syneos Health, a premier provider of fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions, for a cash deal estimated to be worth $7.1 billion.
John Dineen, Head of the Management Board for Syneos Health, explained that all directors agreed this acquisition will provide huge value for the company’s shareholders and align with the ongoing success of the company. He said that it will enable Syneos “to continue to accelerate its growth strategy, enhance customer delivery and evolve the organization toward a tech-enabled future.”

CEO of Veritas, Ramzi Musallam, expressed that “Syneos Health provides mission-critical clinical research and commercialization services to leaders in the biopharmaceutical space.” The private investment firm will work to increase inward investment to secure their strong market position, improving healthcare innovation and patient access internationally.
