“The Belgian society for advancement of cytometry event is being held next Friday, the 24th of March“
This year, 3 core objectives have been identified that the event wishes to address.
The first is to facilitate mutual cooperation across the analytical cytology division. They aim to achieve this by coordinating industry specific academic conferences focusing on analytical cytology. This includes anything from flow cytometry, image cytometry, quantitative microscopy, and molecular methods. They are also encouraging organisations on a national or transnational scale to share information to work toward shared goals.

The second is to improve and highlight cytometry sector quality. They will do this by promoting and suggesting options for quality control operations, employing chemical exchanges to increase consistency, making technical recommendations, and offering suggestions for the certification of analytical cytology labs
Finally, they want to support analytical cytology learning across all disciplines and professions by scheduling meetings and visits for different laboratories, creating a more structured training programme for lab technicians, and covering the logistical aspect of training and instruction opportunities.
