A new third party pharmacy delivery service, Healistic, claims to be able to supply your preferred medical supplies or medications from your neighbourhood pharmacy in as little as 45 minutes.

The app went live at the start of this year, and is presently available in a few central London locations, including Earl's Court and Elephant & Castle, however long term the company plans to expand across a much wider area.

Daniel Bulkin, the Chief Executive Officer, and creator of Healistic, claims that this could revolutionise pharmaceutical deliveries. This is because current online prescription-delivery services, like Phlo, may be able to sustain deliveries the same day as a product order is placed, but Healistic’s mean delivery duration is less than two hours providing a product is inside a delivery zone.

Bulkin explained that “receiving your order in 45 minutes vs end-of-day or next-day is a big difference for consumers and patients.”

The platform works by linking users to a local pharmacy's real-time online inventory, which is then available for pickup and drop off by a Healistic e-bike courier for an additional £2.50.

Presently, they only supply over-the-counter goods, but they fully intend to start delivering private prescriptions as the company progresses through this year.

As each pharmacy determines its own product offerings, customers have access to nearly everything it carries, which is perfect for people who value discretion while making orders.
