Dexter and Globant Join Together on R&D project
ScienceThe software platform supplier Dexter and a digitally native company Globant have revealed their new partnership, with the joint aim to provide both life science and healthcare sectors with real-world data and real-world evidence.
The healthcare sector currently makes up about 30% of data volume globally, generating benefits for patients, suppliers, financiers, and life sciences companies alike.
“Dexter and Globant share joint aim to provide both life science and healthcare sectors with real-world data and real-world evidence“
Software created at the University of Birmingham serves as the foundation for the Dexter research platform. It makes it possible to apply real world evidence for epidemiological investigations, medication safety, efficacy evaluations, and improving clinical testing.
Ultimately these factors aid in minimising both the lengthy period and expense associated with observational and clinical investigations, as well as the risk associated with R&D investment choices.

Global Managing Director of Healthcare & Life Sciences at Globant, Agustin Lamas, explained that “RWE facilitates improvements to patient outcomes by enabling a 360 view. For providers and payers, RWE can be a source of insights into the real-world performance of treatments, thus enabling value-based care models and support for clinical decision-making.”
By integrating real world evidence into the standard set of competences for evidence creation, Dexter and Globant are in a great place to provide value for their clients within the healthcare and life sciences industries.
