XRPH Hires Industry Legend Marc O'GRiofa as Chief Medical Officer
Healthcare CommunicationsDr. Marc O'Griofa, a physician and biomedical engineer with experience across the globe and in space, has been named as XRP Healthcare's new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. O'Griofa typically undertakes positions in engineering, laboratory, and medical devices, but his work is notoriously unpredictable- having also worked in military medical education and training.

He has supported the oversight of supervisory and governance elements related to the instruction and training of warfighters and medical professionals, as well as the development of technological advancements.
Dr Marc O'Griofa expressed that his work enabled him to "combine medicine and engineering in unique and diverse ways, from working as a triage physician as part of the Space Shuttle medical team to developing advanced medical equipment for special operations medical missions and chronic medical conditions to try and reduce unnecessary readmissions and costs".

Dr. Marc O'Griofa has a range of prestigious titles, from the CASPER project's chief investigator, to Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, to the NASA NEEMO project’s pioneering Irish Aquanaut.
XRPH, which started up in the UK in September 2022, is the only pharma and health programme to be created on the XRP Ledger.
By facilitating quick financial transactions amongst market players, XRPH hopes to tackle the lucrative counterfeit medicine market.
