MHP Health Expand Team to Align with Continued Business Growth
MHP Health is increasing the size of their workforce in order to maintain their growth.
Martin Coombes will join the team in order to “provide senior counsel to the team’s UK clients looking to navigate an increasingly cost-constrained and polarised environment”.
Peter Lineen has been selected as a director, having formerly worked at Newmarket Strategy with a number of key pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
Lineen commented on his new position, saying that he is “delighted to be joining MHP at a time of huge growth for the team and a lot of change in the wider industry. More and more, clients are looking for an integrated offer that combines a deep understanding of the technical policy area with the real creative flair needed to catch attention and drive change.”
The company has hired Matt Silk, previously a senior account director for Havas, and Lisa Tweddle, a former account director for Langland as the new associate directors. Also coming in an account director position is Shaun Shaw, who used to be involved in Novartis’ government relations division.
In 2022, MHP Health is “on track to exceed targets” due to “significant new business wins” with major clients within the sector and has also experienced “organic growth” with them.
Health lead for MHP, Kate Harrison, explained that they “have been building a practice for the last five years, which integrates creative campaigning into technical policy. Our latest hires reflect our ambition to stay true to our heritage in health public affairs, while recognising that the needs of our audiences – and clients – are changing.”
