Ceva Animal Health is hosting a Q Fever workshop at TotalDairy on Thursday 24 November to raise awareness of the disease amongst dairy producers, veterinary surgeons and dairy industry representatives.
Featuring alongside global dairy industry experts speaking at the event, the Q Fever workshop will be hosted by Renzo Di Florio, veterinary advisor at Ceva Animal Health. The session will deliver some much-needed clarity on the impact of Q Fever in the UK, outlining how it affects cattle health and reproductive performance and productivity. The workshop will cover identification of the disease and diagnosis, prevention through vaccination and treatment and will unlock some of the mystery surrounding its prevalence and the consequences of the disease on the national dairy herd.

The workshop will provide dairy producers and their advisors with a great opportunity to extend their knowledge of Q Fever, a zoonotic disease that not only affects reproductive performance and productivity in cattle but also presents a health risk to those who work closely with cattle including farmers, farming families and related professions such as vets, veterinary technicians and abattoir workers.
The Q Fever workshop will take place on Thursday 24 November. The workshop is free of charge, but spaces are limited.
