Felpreva has been launched by Vetoquinol to prescribe in the UK

Felpreva, a breakthrough to tackle feline parasites, has been launched by Vetoquinol to prescribe in the UK. Felpreva is the only spot-on parasiticide with 12 weeks of protection against ticks and fleas, plus treatment against tapeworms, roundworms and ear mites in a sole dose.

In addition, it is licensed for the treatment of cats who are at risk or have mixed parasitic infections or infestations.

Felpreva is a mixture of the active ingredients emodepside and praziquantel and tigolaner, a novel bispyrazole active ingredient. It belongs to the endectocide class of veterinary parasiticides.
