Pfizer has reinforced that it stands in opposition to the Russian war in Ukraine

Pfizer has reinforced that it stands with the unified global community across the private, public and civil society sectors in opposition to the Russian war in Ukraine by recently announcing that it will donate all profits of its Russian subsidiary to causes that provide direct humanitarian support the people of Ukraine. This is in addition to the other newly proclaimed donations from Pfizer to Ukraine.

Furthermore, Pfizer will stop recruiting new patients in their ongoing clinical trials in the country and no longer initiate new clinical trials in Russia. Moreover, the company will work with FDA and other regulators to change all current clinical trials to alternative sites outside Russia.

Pfizer will also cease all planned investments with their local suppliers, despite not owning or operating any manufacturing sites in Russia, to build its manufacturing capacity.
