Henry Schein and ADEA to distribute around 3m masks to 290 dental schools


Henry Schein and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) will distribute approximately three million KN95 masks to two-hundred and ninety dental schools and allied programs in the US.

In response to the pandemic, Henry Schein and the ADEA coordinated FEMA’s donation of KN95 masks, produced by 3M, to the ADEA to encourage the return of oral health and dental care education services.

CEO and President of ADEA, Karen West, D.M.D., M.P.H., stated: “We believe this is a great example of how public and private organizations can join together to serve our community of dental educators and oral health professionals. ADEA is committed to helping our member institutions and the dental education community at large, successfully navigate the rapidly changing landscape before us. Providing these KN95 masks is one crucial step in supporting safe dental care. Working together, we can meet today’s challenges and further strengthen dental education.”
