Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund invests in Brainomix software to better stroke victims treatments
Medical Imaging company Brainomix has attracted £7m of investment to bring it’s software into the global healthcare market.
Through the use of artificial intelligence, Brainomax’s software solution e-ASPECTS can provide a fast and standardised assessment of stroke patient CT scans, which will allow medical professionals to make quick, and consistent treatment decisions, which will improve the treatment out comes of stroke victims.
The additional investment from Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF) allows Brainomix to further commercialise the medical imaging and work flow software solutions an expand it’s market around the world.
Dr Frank Kalkbrenner, Managing Director of the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, said: “Brainomix is a cutting-edge technology company with superior expertise in innovative stroke care.
