Hill and Knowlton appoints consumer goods team leader

Hill and Knowlton has announced the appointment of Kat Bayang as the new senior account executive of its consumer packaged goods team.

Ms Bayang joins Hill and Knowlton from the Prince's Charities and has previously worked with media agency Cossette Communications-Marketing, a role which saw her undertake work on behalf of Procter and Gamble.

In her new position, she will join a team of 29 others to perform work for Procter and Gamble's men's care brand Gillette, as well as other major clients such as Ariel, Bold and Fairy.

Louise Watson, head of consumer packaged goods at Hill and Knowlton, expressed confidence that Ms Bayang's experience in both traditional and digital marketing will make her an asset to the company.

She added: "She'll be bolstering a team that's already delivered some phenomenal social media listening work and blogger outreach campaigns."

Last month, the agency announced the appointment of former Wyeth, Bayer and Fleishman-Hillard employee Daniel McIntyre as its new worldwide head of healthcare.
