Huntsworth Health has seen its business and revenue levels experience a year-on-year growth in the first quarter of 2010.

The agency's parent company Huntsworth has published its three-month financial report, revealing that new business for Huntsworth Health in the first quarter was 40 per cent ahead of the corresponding period of last year.

Napp Pharmaceuticals are among the new contracts won by the company in recent months, with Huntsworth Health set to assist in the launch of a new respiratory treatment.

In addition, Biogen Idec has also hired the agency to help to coordinate a major new multiple sclerosis mobility initiative.

Huntsworth Health has also been able to increase its digital revenues by 100 per cent in the first quarter, with this source now accounting for 15 per cent of the division's revenues as a whole.

Earlier this year, PRWeek reported that Huntsworth Health subsidiary ApotheCom has recruited Effie Baoutis as its European managing director, a move designed to help the company build on its recent success.
