Elga Process Water has launched a new water treatment plant rental service.
The UK water treatment equipment supplier claims it is adapting to customers' demands after receiving a number of requests for a rental service.
Its new All-in Pack enables customers to pay through a fixed quarterly direct debit and Elga will provide the water treatment plant and will keep it serviced as part of the deal.
John Pethers, the firm's national service director, said: "It works in exactly the same way whether the customer wants a single piece of equipment like, say, a Rapide Strata deioniser, or a complete pharmaceutical water system.
"In either case we work with the customer to decide the right technical solution and level of service cover, then we supply, deliver, commission and service the equipment."
Mr Pethers explained that a "surprising number" of customers said they would prefer to rent so the scheme was devised with one of the firm's corporate banks.
The organisation is part of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, a subsidiary of Veolia Water, which claims to be one of the world's major designers of technological solutions and constructor of facilities for water treatment.See all the latest jobs in Science
