Agfa HealthCare has announced that it will present its complete computed radiography product portfolio at the RSNA 2007 conference which will be held in Chicago from November 25th 30th.
The company's portfolio in this field is comprised of four solutions; the CR 30-X, CR 35-X, CR-85-X and DX-S.
First is the CR 30-X, a desktop, compact and convenient CR solution designed for decentralised environments. The CR 35-X is a versatile digitiser with a small footprint also designed for decentralised environments.
With a ten cassette drop-and-go buffer to maximise productivity, the CR-85-X is a multi-use digitiser, while the DX-S is an innovative solution that fills the gap in the existing range of digital radiography systems.
The firm reports that the launch of the DX-S in 2005 marked a major landmark for the company enabling it to meet the needs of any facility worldwide, regardless of size.
Iskandar Accaoui, business unit manager of digital radiography at Agfa HealthCare, said: "As the healthcare industry moves from analog to digital to IT, [computed radiography] systems have become an integral part of this transformation process, delivering digital solutions which allow for advanced clinical applications and improved workflow, at highly attractive cost of ownership."
He added that it is exciting for the firm to be involved in this changing market, with over 15,000 such solutions installed worldwide acting as evidence of its ability to deliver flexible solutions to all types of facility.
Last month, Agfa HealthCare presented its Impax Data Center to the Annual Public Health Information Network in Atlanta.See all the latest jobs in Medical Devices
