Medical Field Service Engineer
Medical Field Service Engineer- Working with IPL and Laser Equipment- fault find, repair, maintenance & service.
An opportunity to join a long-established supplier of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, specialising in ophthalmology as a Field Service Engineer
You would be servicing and maintain electronic systems and laser technology including IPL and Laser equipment within the cosmetic and beauty industry.
Due to expansion, they are seeking a service engineer to support their customers, mainly in London and the South East.
They are a small team and take pride in delivering the highest levels of support to their customers.
The position is primarily Bedford based, however from time-to-time, travel to various parts of the UK and Ireland may be required, to cover other engineers as required.
Training will be undertaken at the office and manufacturers' facilities. The initial workload will be based around preventative maintenance and emergency callout provision. This will build over time, to lead engineer status on certain products and may expand to include user training and application support, should the candidate have the inclination and aptitude.
Requirements
- Be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to electronic fault-finding to component level in analogue, digital and HV circuitry.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer.
- Qualified to HNC/ HND level in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or have suitable experience.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be customer service orientated.
- Live within easy commuting distance of Bedford.
