Field Service Engineer- fault finding, repair, maintenance, service- Invitro-Diagnostic equipment (immunodiagnostics)

We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join a growing international company within the medical diagnostics market.

This role covers the South of England, is newly created due to business growth and provides an opportunity to gain specialist training and become an expert on one key product line. There are longer term opportunities for career development and have a voice in business direction - you will work in a medium sized team, in an ambitious company without the corporate mindset.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for installing, servicing, updating, and repairing instruments, and providing first-level application support.
You will also be responsible for delivery of some elements of in-field customer training.
Alongside this, you will identify and facilitate opportunities for the Sales Team to increase revenue streams related to installed instruments and maintain and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Ideal experience:
Experience of operating and/or maintaining and repairing medical diagnostic instrumentation within a field service engineer role or a clinical laboratory environment.
Demonstrable interest and ability in practical aspects of electromechanical engineering is essential, preferably backed up by an appropriate engineering qualification.
