We have a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Copywriter, at the Home of Health, Creative &
Human behaviour. Our client is a creative full-service agency, with a clear focus on delivering
evidence-based, sustained behavioural change.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to become part of a collaborative team, reporting to the
Senior Medical Copywriter.

You will take increasing responsibility for the creation of high-quality scientific content across a wide range of platforms, and to different audiences.
This will involve understanding scientific data and insights from in-house behavioural research to craft messaging that meets our client's objectives.
You will begin to take ownership of the brands you work on, following relevant style guidelines and adhering to medical writing standards. Version control and document quality will be key.

As a Medical Copywriter you will be required to remain current with relevant legislation and guidance.

Our client encourages collaboration and you will be involved in pitches, where you will work with the creative and wider team, from ideation through to final pitch decks.

The ideal candidate will be:

Technical
• Experienced in medical writing in relevant organisations
• knowledgable of medical writing guidelines and standards
• Experienced with a range of document types (print and digital)
• Able to produce high quality scientifically and medically accurate reports
• Strong in proof-reading, attention to detail and ability to review and quality check documents for
scientific/technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence with regulatory requirements
• Knowledgeable of guidelines for EMA, MHRA, EFPIA and ABPI
• Knowledgeable of relevant legislation, including GCP guidance
• Proficient with MS Office applications, version control and reference management
• Working knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats

Personal
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Excellent computer literacy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with moderate supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build consensus and work effectively in teams
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work
effectively and efficiently under pressure

Qualifications and experience
• Science, medical or pharmacy degree in relevant discipline at BSc level or higher
• At least one years’ experience in medical writing
