Our client are looking for a proficient and highly communicative Life Science Sales Specialist to join their Life Sciences Commercial team! This position will be field based, covering the East Anglia territory.

Responsible for promoting and selling a range of equipment, consumables and service products covering your territory, you'll enable them to meet sales targets in line with ambitious growth plans along with delivering excellent customer service.

TERRITORY: East Anglia

Some of the things you will be doing if you join:
· Ensuring sufficient sales activity, territory coverage and future prospect development to achieve individual set financial targets on a monthly and yearly basis.
· Preparing proposals and draft sales contracts as required and or in cooperation with colleagues.
· Maintaining a robust pipeline value for any given period and defined target area
· Taking the lead in ensuring regular scheduled meetings with existing key customers to review relationship and secure long-standing business.
· Cultivating a good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity
· Updating of current database of clients & prospects within Salesforce CRM system.
· Providing a Customer/Prospect focus and always striving to meet their needs in line with the objectives and needs as defined by the company.
· Maintaining the highest credible image within the market and territory.
· Attending commercial exhibitions and conferences and leading seminars to clients.
· Other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably assigned.

We're keen to bring new people and ideas into the team; we don't have a list of mandatory qualifications or skills to be considered for the role, although you will have prior experience working in a sales environment. However, some or all of the following could be expected of you:
· Previous experience within a similar territory management role, ideally within a Life Sciences or Lab equipment industry will be a distinct advantage.
· Good working knowledge of University, Pharma, Biotechnology laboratories
· Technical competence and excellent customer problem solving skills
· Detail Oriented, with strong communication skills
· Intermediate to strong MS Office skills
