Mettler-Toledo are seeking a driven sales person to join their Laboratory Weighing division covering the North-East territory.

Job Description:

We currently have a vacancy for a Sales Specialist - Laboratory Weighing and pH. The role reports to the National Sales Manager and will be covering the North East area.

The key aim of this role is to sell our range of laboratory balances and pH meters to meet/exceed specified sales targets.

Key Role Responsibilities:

- Meet/exceed set value added income and net sales value targets
- Develop laboratory business for Mettler-Toledo Limited, using database and prospecting activity
- Develop quality image with customers and provide support for customers
- Develop a technical ability on weighing and pH instrument products and use available sales tools (GWP)

Person Profile

What you will need to succeed:

- Degree in a scientific discipline or relevant work experience
- Experienced selling Laboratory equipment to key accounts and customers in Universities, hospitals and the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Food industries
- Ambitious, self-reliant and has the determination to succeed
- Solutions focussed
- Ability to develop a technical ability on weighing and pH instrument products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
