Key Account Manager - Pigs
We are working with a global and market leading pharmaceutical company to recruit a Key Account Manager - Swine division.
Our client offers one of the industry's most innovative portfolios of products, services, and technologies that serve to prevent, treat, and control diseases across all major farm and companion animal species both domestically and internationally.
The role:
To provide specialist technical expertise on the products and assist Key Account customers in the purchase, application and outcomes relating to those products.
To identify commercial opportunities within customer groups and cultivate strategic contacts and establish positive relationships in order to further those opportunities.
To work collaboratively with customers (vets, agri-businesses and producers) to establish a reputation as the 'go to' expert for named products.
To demonstrate knowledge and experience of modern integrated farming practices and products (ideally veterinary pharmaceuticals).
This is a field-based role within the South UK, with the majority of the customer base in East-Anglia
Requirements:
- Sales experience in the livestock veterinary or agricultural industry (essential)
- Key Account Manager experience (essential)
- Knowledge of Swine market (ideal, but not essential)
- A creative thinker who is dynamic and able to propose new ideas within the team.
