An excellent opportunity for an experienced sales representative to move into a strategic key account management role within a global organisation.

TERRITORY: East Anglia
PRODUCTS: Full range of Life Science, Analytical/Chromatography, Chemistry and Materials Science
CLIENTS: Covering key accounts across East Anglia

Your Role:
The Key Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for generating sales of products and services from existing and prospective customers in an assigned territory.
You will coordinate all customer support functions, including field and headquarters, based specialists to help our customers meet their objectives and maximum business opportunities.
All Account Managers are therefore expected to utilise the available tools and resources to track and report sales activity and share account knowledge, exceed sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis, ensuring a sustainable, profitable and plannable growth.
You will manage activities within your territory to ensure you provide a high level of customer support, initiate customer contact and coordinate visits to develop and maintain a broad and deep network with prospective customers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
The role involves developing the necessary customer knowledge to assess their needs and deliver the appropriate products, services and solutions, while developing strong internal relationships and coordinating these internal resources to address customer needs.

Requirements:
Science background in Molecular Biology is preferred
Previous experience working in scientific sales is preferred
