Key Account Manager UK & Ireland

Objective of the Position
To manage, sustain and nurture the relationship and interaction between an establish healthcare company and its already established distribution partners. With the goal to increase both sales revenue and market share from these partnerships, communicating mutually beneficial objectives and executing aligned strategic activity. Effective use of local resource is essential so a coordinated approach with Marketing and Sales teams and activity is a vital requirement.

• Developing a solid and trusting relationship between key account and our client.
• Resolving key account issues and complaints.
• Developing a complete understanding of key account needs.
• Anticipating key account changes and initiate process improvements or efficiencies.
• Managing communications between key accounts and internal teams ie. Sales and Marketing.
• Strategic planning to improve and manage key account performance.
• Negotiating annual and ongoing contracts with the key accounts and establishing a timeline of performance management.
• Managing budgets related to internal and external key account activity.
• Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all key account needs met.
• Collaborating with the sales team to maximise revenue by up-selling or cross-selling.
• Planning and presenting regular reports on key account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with internal and external team members
• Meeting all key account needs and deliverables according to proposed and agreed timelines.
• Analysing key account sales, inventory and performance data to provide bespoke customer relationship management.

Qualifications/Requirements for the Role:
• Previous Key Account Management experience.
• Minimum of two years sales experience (within last 4 years).
• Experience of effectively presenting to a group
• Competence in analysis and production of reports
• You are characterized by independent and structured work.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, sociability, appropriate demeanour and fun advice and sales round off your profile.
