A brilliant opportunity for a science graduate/ PhD to move into an Junior Product Manager role. This role will be mainly office based in Basingstoke with some field work and travel involved for exposure to customers.

The overall objective of the role is be responsible for the product management and operational activities for the whole Industry Product range including reagents, instruments, software and services.

PRODUCTS: Industry Product range including reagents, instruments, software and services.

- Prepare product launch files and manage the life cycle management of the portfolio at Northern Europe Cluster level.
- Contribute to marketing plans, in collaboration with the marketing manager.
- Execute the marketing communication & digital plan define by the Marketing Manager ( update marketing material on show pad at Cluster level, organise and execute E blast at cluster level, contribute to customer events organisation (user group meeting, demo, exhibitions and congress, manage marketing material stock level ( goodies, brochures..))
- Support Marketing manager on field activities, to prepare arguments, to test market before launching products at local level
- Support of the other functions in the organisation, in order to back up the offer design by marketing; check that plan and organisation of these functions are adequate to deliver the designed offer. (sales forecasts, product allocation, logistic, sales administration , Price list update).
- Interact with sales force, support for sales meetings, product meeting and local congresses

- BSc or higher in a life science subject ideally microbiology but open to other areas.
- Good knowledge and understanding of industrial microbiology techniques.
-Knowledge of MS Office, digital & social network, able to understand microbiology and laboratory workflow,
-Previous customer focused experience and/or post degree laboratory experience.
