An expanding manufacturer that have been around for over 70 years are looking for an additional Service Engineer to join the team and work on their analytical instruments. This company pride themselves on the quality of their people and their products. The overall remit is to provide service function to the business in your region which will involve remote and on-site technical support.

Also involved will be field based repairs, preventative maintenance, installations and trainings of our products and solutions. The role will include travelling throughout the South of the UK and involve some overnight stays in hotels. The biggest customers are in Oxford and along the M4 corridor and so most of your time will be spent in this region. It would be preferred if applicants are based in Oxford, Reading, Slough or West of London.

Engineer Duties:
Technical support to customers and internal staff. Your main focus will be on Oxford, M4 Corridor and the South West but you will have work across the South of the UK.
Product repair situated in field and back to base.
Preventative maintenance contracts (all field based)
Product installations
Customer operation training

Experienced service engineers within a laboratory environment OR Qualified in chemistry with laboratory working experience for a minimum of 3 years. Should be able to demonstrate competent experience with operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

Salary up to £35,000 (dependant on experience), bonus, car, laptop, mobile, private medical insurance, pension.
