Sales Representative

Reports to: Sales Manager, Diagnostic Division

Territory: South West

Products: High quality medical and diagnostic products and instruments

Clients: Healthcare labs and point of care

Responsibilities:
. To achieve sales targets.
. To build, develop and exploit profitable relationships with all current and potential customers within the assigned territory;
. To ensure professional standards of customer service and support at all times;
. To ensure effective journey planning and time management;
. Improve eface to facef selling time by means of efficient planning and appointments;
. Gather customer intelligence and feedback to enable a proactive participation in product enhancement and new product development;
. To monitor and report changes in market trends and competitor activities;
. To organise and attend local exhibitions, and to attend national exhibitions when required;
. To maintain customer records within the territory;
. To ensure all literature, presenters and other business material is presented in a professional manner and that it is current and fit for purpose;
. Provide requests of product samples and quotations for customers;
. Timely management and submission of all required reports and requests;
. To ensure that all company standards and policies are adhered to.

Person Profile

The ideal candidate will have some experience of sales with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation and determination.
In addition they must be well organised with the ability to manage their time to deliver on all their tasks.
Previous experience within the Healthcare field would be an advantage but is not essential. You will benefit from the support of experienced sales management as well as a dedicated product management team and our excellent mentor programme.

Qualifications:
Degree in scientific/healthcare subject
Sales experience preferred but not essential, driven graduates with the right sales attitude will also be considered.
