TERRITORY: North West

PRODUCTS: Surgical capital equipment, disposables and a service within the ophthalmology sector. New product launches last year in both capital and consumables and more planned for 2018.

CLIENTS: Ophthalmic Surgeon, Theatre Managers, Theatre Nurses, Procurement

ROLE: Very much a close partnership relationship with the consultants within theatre. Commercial selling role to ensure targets are achieved.

Duties
1. To promote appropriate products to targeted existing and potential customers.
2. To provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management.
3. To organise and co-ordinate local meetings on territory, also ensuring adequate catering facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio visual aids are available where necessary.
4. At all times to maintain and uphold an excellent company image, by way of personal presentation in both attitude, dress and condition of company car.
5. To work the hours necessary to achieve objectives on a daily, weekly, monthly and cycle basis.
6. To achieve previously set sales targets.
7. To ensure that specified administrative duties are carried out on time and to guarantee efficient operation of territory.
8. To constantly upgrade ones standard of knowledge and understanding of the specialities in which we operate.
9. To work as efficiently and economically as possible, as a professional salesperson.

Person Profile

Theatre Sales experience ideally
Qualification or equivalent work experience in Life Sciences or a related field
•Ophthalmic surgical sales experience with a track record of achievements – desired not necessary
•Experience in medical devices and medical capital sales environment
Driven, ambitious individuals who wish to develop their career
