CLIENTS: Academic, Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Research Laboratories

A great opportunity for an experienced life science sales person with a technical background in molecular and/or cell biology!

Role responsibilities:
Achieves sales targets by maintaining existing business alongside developing sales in existing and new accounts in order to grow business.
Demonstrates ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategy
Effectively adopt selling techniques used by the company, via questioning strategies designed to advance objectives of call, value proposition and closing statements.
Update and maintains the customer relationship management (CRM) database to ensure all relevant information is accessible across the organisation and communicated to relevant people/
Deliver product presentations to current and potential customers.
Ensure excellent customer service and prompt response to enquiries.
Attends trade and vendor shows and meetings as required.
Keep aware of market and competitor information to share with the organisation and help contribute towards identifies areas to grow the business in this region.

Person Specification:
BSc, MSc, PhD, in Cell or Molecular Biology or related life science discipline.
Sales experience, preferably in the life science reagent market is preferred.
Knowledge of purchasing process in academics, biotech and pharma accounts is preferable
Strong commitment to customer service
