A very exciting NHS Liaison Manager Opportunity has become available with one of the leading suppliers of vitamin D medicines to the UK market.

Our client is a pharmaceutical company engaged in the development of highly effective and innovative prescription medicines aimed at the prevention and treatment of common bone disorders such as osteoporosis and Vitamin D deficiency. They are currently the leading manufacturer and supplier of prescription Vitamin D medicines for the UK market.

This role is a hybrid Market Access/Key Account Manager role with the following duties:
- Achieve sales and activity targets within defined key accounts on your region
- Communicate CCG / HBs or secondary care guidance to the contract sales team to ensure effective selling
-Build long term business relationships with key customers to ensure maximum potential is achieved for our client's products
- Monitor local sales vs target and competitor activity
- Organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings in conjunction with contract sales team
- Dotted line responsible for shaping the business plans and activity of the medical sales team that sit below this position

Person Spec:
- Proactively maintain up to date knowledge of products and therapy areas.
- Comprehensive branded (ethical) pharmaceutical sales experience with secondary care specialists and CCGs / HBs.
- Experience with the strategic NHS including CCGs, HBs, CSU and hospital trusts.
- Excellent relationships with a range of payor customers.
- ABPI qualified
