Role- Key Account Manager (North Yorkshire)

Basic purpose of the position;

Lead the co-creation and payer implementation of account plans , in detail for next 1-2 years and longer term where appropriate (e.g. priority accounts, launch prep)
Effectively interact with payers and other key decision makers and influencers to deliver Account Plan outcomes- Developing and improving the local business with the Head of Sales and Regional Operations Manager.

Accountabilities Account Planning;

- Accountable and responsible for leading the local co-creation of an account plan with all relevant functions (e.g. Marketing, Comms, MSL, SNAM) including liaising with ROM / Area Team to plan Customer interactions
- The identification, management and development of internal relationships with key stakeholders to ensure support of Account priorities
- Identification of key decision makers and plans strategy to approach payers ensuring advocacy development based on local environmental knowledge and healthcare delivery
- Primary responsible person for successful execution of the local account plan for payer facing roles.
- Spots opportunities and develops business case for maximising opportunity

Effective Customer Engagement;

- Accountable and responsible for successful delivery of agreed payer facing actions in the local account plan
- Delivers high value interactions, drawing on other resources as required
- Make financial decisions in line with frameworks
- Identifies best practices and shares these with wider KAM group and HoS

Leadership / Stakeholder Management;

- Leadership across area team and cross functionally to ensure plan is effectively locally operationalized in line with brand and customer strategies.
- Achieve Area team success through successful collaboration with ROM

Market access;

- Responsible for achieving and maintaining local Market Access (formulary and guideline inclusions)

Sales and Formulary Outcomes;
- Influences key stakeholders to ensure optimal formulary & guideline positions
- Ensures sales targets are met through advocacy management and excellence in payer facing activities
