An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Market Manager - Database / Direct Marketing, within the Diabetes Care team within a market leading business. The main purpose of the role will be to:
" Develop and implement retention and acquisition campaigns to high value consumers, using online and offline channels, contributing to driving market share.
" Manage consumer CRM systems and maintain database quality and integrity.
" Maintain the website, and develop & implement digital activities.

Main responsibilities:
" Produce annual marketing plans for the Database Marketing and the Digital channels, to achieve yearly business objectives and realise longer term business goals, including detailed promotional budgets, activities, time lines and tactical plans. May involve presentations to Leadership Team and at National Sales Conferences. Responsibility for managing marketing budgets and ensuring all activities fall within and do not exceed agreed parameters.

" Responsibility for the development and effective implementation of Direct-To-Consumer marketing plans through digital and offline channels to achieve and drive business objectives both short and long term, including hands-on design and implementation of items such as scripts for telemarketing, questions for market research surveys, copy-writing and design of brochures, mailshots, emails, online banners, AdWords and web pages.

" Strategically oversee data collection on customers via all contact points including customer service by phone or email, web forms, online product registration, warranty cards, coupons, campaign response forms, product orders, customer surveys and telemarketing data from 3rd parties, to ensure its accuracy, relevance, punctuality and legality.

" Responsibility for managing outsourced 3rd party data processing company tasked with processing of all inbound Accu-Chek consumer data from all off and online channels

" To lead the management, maintenance and development of the Accu-Chek UK websites and UK digital marketing activity for the consumer channel, ensuring that it is correctly managed and updated by team members, so that they provide the best possible experience for consumers, meet legal and brand requirements and properly support and achieve business objectives.

" Ensure compliance with Accu-Chek Branding, Data Protection Act, Advertising Codes and BIVDA for promotional messages, data capture and the correct use of customer data in activities such as mailshots, door drop, telemarketing, email marketing, SMS marketing, online advertising including PPC banners, display banners, SEM, SEO, Ensure master data held in the system for consumers is accurate and up to date via various data cleaning and enhancement activities and that it conforms to DPA rules per the Information Commissioner's Office guidelines.

" Monitor and improve performance of digital channels and activities though monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc reports. Provide insight into Accu-Chek consumers and their usage of Digital channels, for future developments.

" To manage, motivate and coach direct reports, so that they have the skills, competencies and confidence, to perform effectively, including arranging specialist training which addresses individual and business needs. Encourage an environment of self-development.
