Key Account Manager

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

TERRITORY: Scotland and Northern Ireland

Job Code -
- Maximize sales in the defined territory
- Develop, implement and adjust required account- and/or brand plans to reach sales targets, based on customer insights and in accordance to set strategy
- Develop & manage relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Initiate and lead customer activities and defined sales/marketing projects in the territory

Minimum Requirements-
- Academic education or experience from similar positions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Good communication skills, both oral and written communication
- Documented track record in successful selling
- Profound knowledge of the local market (including health care system and its mechanisms in general)
- Computer skills (MS Office programs)

Preferred Requirements-
- Documented experience in sales of med tech products or towards identified target groups (ie hand surgeons, urologists)
- Documented experience in working with market access related questions

Education/Learning Experience
o Academic medical or paramedical education or experience from similar positions

Work Experience
o Relevant TA experience in a medical-marketing, marketing or sales role for a minimum of 2 years required/highly desirable

o Customer relationship management with fluency in written and spoken English

o Specialty medicine account management experience, with demonstrable success

o Self-starter, positive thinker, excellent social and negotiation skills

o Good communication skills, both oral and written communication

o Documented track record in successful selling

o Knowledge of the local health systems and decision making processes

o Profound knowledge of the local market (including health care system and its mechanisms in general)

o Computer skills (MS Office programs)

o Recent pre-launch and launch experience an advantage
