Although this position will be around or between Salisbury and Swindon , there will be times when travel around the country will be required

Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the area Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Engineer provides on site customer support and is the main face of the company to our customers.
This position will be instrumental in providing a high level of support, requiring close interaction with the customer and colleagues to maintain a quality service.
Adhering to customer focused strategies to achieve business goals, increase customer satisfaction and position Service Support as a positive sales differentiator in an ever increasingly competitive market.

Job Elements.
Travel Requirements - Travel by car within specified area with additional travel within the UK when required. Our training facilities are located within the UK, US and Europe for specific instrument training.
Language Requirements - Prospective employee's should have a strong knowledge of technical English language.
Working Environment - Day to day working is within the customer haematology and or biochemistry laboratories.

Technical Elements
A minimum HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject
Minimum of 2 years Field Service experience (preferably on clinical chemistry / Immunoassay analysers).
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels
Proven track record in a technical service organisation with a customer focus being key
Full UK driving license
I.T. literate

Job Package

Basic salary £30,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience
10% Bonus
