TITLE: UK Multichannel Marketing Manager

LOCATION: Surrey

REPORTING TO: General Medicines UK General Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES:
Support marketing teams in defining the best multichannel approach in line with the brands objectives
Implement & drive multichannel initiatives in line with marketing plans
Identify and reuse internal and external best practice
Develop multichannel capabilities in the GenMeds division
Adapt and implement Global multichannel tools, using EMS platform
Develop, implement and track relevant KPIs
Provide recommendations to develop the usability, design, content and conversion of the brands websites and to drive online traffic to the brands websites
In collaboration with European team, contribute to providing feedback to continuously improve IS platforms and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
The multichannel marketing manager will work very closely with IS & brand teams, as well as key support functions (Legal & regulatory)

The role is office based but may require travel (~20% of the time) mainly in the UK, occasionally other countries in Europe.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a digital marketing background
Marketing technologist with significant experience in established technology solutions and programming languages (e.g. Drupal, Proscape, Sitecore, HTML, HTML, HTTP, XML and JavaScript). A strong willingness to keep up to date with new, rapidly changing digital support technologies
Experience of running and evaluating online marketing campaigns including the use of Pay Per Click (PPC); Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques; and social media tools (like Facebook, Twitter etc) for internal and external communications
Understanding of digital / multichannel trends in Pharma and non-Pharma industries
Experience of project management frameworks and techniques. Formal qualification in a structured project methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, Agile) is desirable
Experience of working collaboratively in a matrix structure. A flexible attitude with experience of working in a small team and collaborating across a large business.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Experience of developing implementing solutions in partnership with the business / IS
Performance mind-set with a results orientated approach
Customer-focussed with a "can do" attitude. Displays a sense of proactivity and urgency to meet business needs
