Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, North Region, the Field Service Engineer provides high quality on site customer support and is the face of the company to our customers.

This position will be instrumental in providing a high level of support, requiring close interaction with the customer and colleagues to maintain a quality service.

Adhering to customer focused strategies to achieve business goals, the successful applicant will help us to increase customer satisfaction and position Service Support as a positive sales differentiator in an increasingly competitive market.

This position is full time, five days a week. The five working days will be flexible to include Saturday and Sunday as and when the Company requires.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:-

· Achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan
· Work closely with other internal departments to build relationships that result in timely implementation, installation and post go-live support
· Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all customers
· Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections and service modifications are completed in the specified time frames
· Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork and reports
· Maintain accurate record of car stock
· Adhere to company policies and procedures
· Contribute to an environment where quality is perceived as a culture
· Fully engage and partake in all DBS (Danaher Business Systems)


Knowledge and Experience Requirements:-

· Position will be based in North East, primarily supporting our customers in the North East Region with travel to other UK regions as required
· Be able to travel abroad for training courses as required
· A minimum HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject
· Minimum of 2 years Field Service experience preferably in the medical Diagnostic arena.
· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels
· Proven track record in a technical service organisation with customer focus being key
· Full UK driving licence
· I.T. and system literacy is required
· This position is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB checks)

Job Package

Basic salary £30,000 - £36,000 dependant on experience
10% bonus
