Brand Manager Oncology

Develop and implement brand-marketing strategies and tactics customized to the UK market with the aim of increasing product awareness and sales.

TITLE: Brand Manager

LOCATION: Maidenhead, Berkshire

THERAPY AREA: Oncology

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage with in-field team and customers in order to generate and synthesize insights
Customize the WE&C brand plan and story to prepare and deliver the local UK brand plan and tactics, contributing to increased awareness and sales and laying the groundwork for future AbbVie launches in Oncology
Co-lead alongside the Hematology/Oncology Lead, the tactical design and implementation of Marketing initiatives coming from the Area Brand Team WE&C, to include:
Innovative tactics to deliver holistic solutions
Multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns (Including CLM)
Multi-stakeholder initiatives
Materials for conferences
Sales training pieces and initiatives
Internal campaigns and meetings
Ad boards and market research
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Input into UK Oncology Council on marketing topics
Regulatory, Medical marketing local approval
Budgetary responsibilities for ensuring promotional activities are within agreed spending limits
Select and manage external agencies required to support marketing initiatives
Responsible and accountable for the development of External Experts and Advocates

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's required
Previous marketing experience - minimum of 2 years
Comprehensive understanding of the ABPI code
Proven track record in relevant sales environment
Industry experience preferred

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Translate strategy into tactical plans and ability to deliver on these
Ability to monitor results and develop contingencies
Action planning and budget management
Can influence others, including those over whom they have no direct authority
Professional, accountable, high energy, and collaborative team player
Flexibility and listening skills
