ROLE: Client Commercial Manager

LOCATION: Based from Chessington, Surrey

JOB PURPOSE: This role is required to sell in and supervise existing and new contract sales & marketing services to large and small UK & European manufacturers (Health & Beauty Consumer Clients) and ensure effective delivery to support the achievement of the Skills in Healthcare revenue and trading profit budgets.

This role requires building long term client relationships, responding to their requests and supporting the sales & training teams to deliver against agreed KPIs and ensure field sales & training force service excellence for each agreement. Working autonomously and as part of a team to scope requirements to meet the clients objectives whilst suggesting the most profitable and cost effective method of service delivery; managing the set-up of agreed activity and reporting back to the client. There is requirement to engage with high level stakeholders externally and internal through our Alliance Boots Group.

The role also required close tracking of progress to support the development of case studies and identification of new opportunities within existing and support the winning of new manufacturer clients.

This role is required to sell contract sales services to manufacturers, creating a pipe line of activity, supporting the activity though to implementation and feeding back results.

This role includes targeting manufacturers and responding to their requests, scoping their requirements to meet objectives whist suggesting the most profitable and cost effective method of service delivery, negotiating a service fee, supporting the set up of the activity and keeping close its progress to support feedback to the paying manufacturer.

In addition, this role will use the service contact opportunities to suggest further manufacturer services to support / compliment proposed activity to improve the service and generate further income for Alliance Healthcare.

Role Complexity:
1. Manage the selling of multiple contract sales services across a variety of categories, suppliers a channels
2. A combined up and downstream understanding and knowledge base is required to communicate effectively with clients
3. The role will require frequent B2B activity and communication and often with contacts that Group Companies such as Boots & Alliance Healthcare would consider their competition
4. In this role, to succeed in securing income and develop an impartial business relationship, you are required to support the manufacturers objectives first and not those of our wholesale or retail group divisions
5. Selling contract sales services requires a knowledge of how all parties make their profit, manufacturers, retail pharmacy, wholesale and Skills in Healthcare as the service provider
6. An awareness of European markets is required to help when present to European manufacturers who have no knowledge of the UK market and need to understand why the UK is different
7. This role requires strong knowledge of buying, sales, marketing and logistics to support proposal and relations with sales, marketing and supply chain directors
8. Some services will require your personal implementation and project management support and creation of processes and service tools to meet the objectives you have agreed to deliver for a client.
