JOB ROLE:

To be responsible for the commercial activity and deliver the set objectives within the commercial plan. To provide effective day to day running of the portfolio, and drive sales through range and channel expansion.
We are looking for someone to assist in the negotiation of distribution contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The key tasks associated with this role include the following:

" To be the key contact, working closely with the category managers and buyers within the Health & Beauty team, and the managers within the Surgical team.
" Develop the range strategy and commercial plan in order to deliver the budget. Review the market and create a rolling 12 month product pipeline for launch.
" Responsible for supplier terms negotiations and contractual management.
" Regularly liaise with the Sales teams to develop sales strategies for different customer segments and routes to market in order to increase turnover and with the Marketing team to develop an effective marketing plan, promotional timetables and initiatives.
" Develop contacts with external customers to understand the consumer perception of the brand, product requirements and overall support for the brands. In addition to growing the sales of both brands
" Proactively develop B2B links to expand sales channels for the brands.
" Meet with external suppliers to agree product range and all commercial activity and contractual agreements
" To work with the Regulatory manager to ensure all product files are maintained and are up to date and well as address ad hoc customer queries/complaints and feedback in a timely and responsive manner.
" Monitor sales and stock on a weekly basis and provide appropriate actions to manage the effective performance of the brands maximising sales and minimising stock issues either out of stocks or over stocks.
" Attend internal meetings to report on performance, and take necessary actions.
" To oversee the packaging design and approval process for product packaging creation in line with the brand guidelines
" To monitor the markets and be fully aware of competitor activity including other own brands, leading brands and tertiary brands and react accordingly.
